The most important thing in training is that your dog should obey your commands immediately. So initially while training the dog some hunters may use electric collars for the dogs in order make them obey the commands. But some of them may protest that this is inhumane because it is just like punishing a dog for the wrong thing.

You should make your dog to oblige for the commands and do it otherwise if you go for hunting the dogs will hunt on their own and they dont’ even care your commands. This needs lots of patience and time.

Not all the dogs are suited for hunting. So you have to choose the right breed dog that are best for hunting. Secondly you have to choose the type of hunting you need and depending on that you can train the dog.
